Dr Mikhaeel specialises in the treatment of lymphoma and colorectal cancer with both chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
He trained in clinical oncology in Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, University College London Hospital, and Mount Vernon Hospital before his appointment as a consultant in 2001.
Dr Mikhaeel has a unique expertise as one of the few clinicians treating lymphoma with both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He is an early implementer of advanced radiotherapy techniques in lymphoma radiotherapy. He specialises in Image-Guided IMRT in lymphoma to improve targeting of radiation and reduce side effects and in PET-based radiotherapy planning.
His research interest is focused on advanced radiotherapy techniques and the use of imaging in lymphoma. He pioneered the use of early response assessment by PET scanning so that treatment can be tailored to the individual patient. He published extensively in the field and has been an invited speaker in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. He is a co-author of international guidelines for radiotherapy in lymphoma and international guidelines in the use of imaging in staging and response assessment. He is a member of the UK National Cancer Research Institute – Lymphoma Studies Group and is the chief investigator of a clinical study in non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He is a founding member of the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group and is a member of its steering committee and chairs the UK Lymphoma Radiotherapy Group steering committee.

Dr Ra'ad Shakir trained in Neurology at the Institute of Neurology, Glasgow and qualified in 1971. Dr Shakir then went to work in the Middle East, as the Academic Dean of the then new Medical School in Kuwait and also spent one year as a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
Dr Shakir moved back to the United Kingdom to work as a Consultant Neurologist in Middlesbrough and in 1995 moved to his current position as Chief of Service Neurology at Charing Cross Hospital, London. Over the years he has developed an interest in CNS infections and Tropical Neurology, with publishing papers on Epilepsy and CNS infection and the work on Brucellosis is still perhaps the most widely cited paper on the neurological complications of the disease.
Dr Shakir's first book was on Tropical Neurology was published in 1996, putting this topic on the agenda of Neurologist across the world. Dr Shakir followed this up with a second book on Tropical Neurology which was published in 2003.
Dr Shakir's national involvement includes duties for the Royal Colleges of Physicians, including being the regional RCP advisor for Neurology, Northwest Thames London and examiner for the MRCP London since 1992. Dr Shakir also has international affiliation with the ILAE as member of their education committee and a longstanding involvement with the World Federation of Neurology.

He is involved in coordinating Europe’s largest patient registry, the UK HALO Radiofrequency ablation registry which collects nationwide outcomes of this exciting new intervention in patients with early cancer of the oesoophagus.
He regularly attends and presents at both local and international conferences, using these as a forum to share his research findings but also learn from what others are doing in the field of diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.

When Dr Eskander set up the Gynae Centre in 1999 it was the realisation of a life’s ambition; namely to be able to utilise his wealth of experience to provide a one-stop gynaecological service for women, allowing problems to be diagnosed and treated in one visit.
Dr Eskander was admitted as a distinguished Member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists as long ago as 1977. By 1983 he was acknowledged as one of the few obstetricians and gynaecologists in the world who could make an accurate and confident diagnosis of fetal abnormalities and gynecological problems using ultrasound.
In 1989 he moved overseas to help organise the obstetric unit at the prestigious teaching hospital in Bahrain, one of the first hospitals in the middle east to introduce IVF.
Since returning to the UK in 1993, Dr Eskander has gained a reputation as one of the pre-eminent gynaecologists working in London. He was one of the first doctors to provide colcoscopy service and laser treatment.
Dr Eskander is also a consultant in the field of assisted conception. He is the co-director of The Fertility & Gynaecology Academy, where he practices two afternoons every week along side Dr Gorgy.

Ahmad Sayasneh completed his training in gynaecological oncology at the Hammersmith Hospital, London Deanery. Having completed his MD (Res), he has was appointed as an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the Imperial College London in 2015.

Dr Hamodi Kayal is a chartered Clinical Psychologist with significant expertise in the assessment and therapeutic treatment of a range of anxiety and depressive disorders. He is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), EMDR Association Ireland and UK, and the Health Professions Council (HPC). Dr Kayal undertook his undergraduate studies in Israel, followed by his Post graduate studies in the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa. He completed further post qualification doctorate in London.
With a special interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Dr Kayal went on to complete additional training in this area, including trauma focussed CBT and EMDR. Both of these therapeutic approaches are recommended as the first line of treatment for adults in the UK, according to the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence guidelines (NICE).
Dr Kayal works with a range of psychological and psychiatric difficulties, including Mood Disorders (depression, mood swings, bipolar mood disorders) and Anxiety Disorders (panic attacks, agoraphobia, specific phobia, Social anxiety, PTSD and performance anxiety). He is also experienced in working with traumatic bereavement, work stress, dissociative disorders and emotional regulation difficulties. Having practiced in many countries, Dr Kayal has a broad experience of different cultural backgrounds and mental health settings (CMHT, adult mental health teams and inpatient hospitals).
Dr Kayal encompasses a flexible approach to therapy, adapting treatment to suit the individual needs of his clients. Dr Iman Riad is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with many years of experience across the spectrum of women’s health. She has a special interest in abnormal uterine bleeding, outpatient hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation.
Beginning her training in London almost 20 years ago, Dr Riad has practiced in a wide range of hospitals in London and Surrey. In 1996 she was made a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In 1999 she also became a qualified Colposcopist and a member of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.

Dr A. Ismail is a Consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician who has studied and practiced around the world. He is the director and proprietor of Queens Gynecology Clinic, Harley Street, where he has been successfully treating and operating on patients for 25 years.
Dr Ahmed Ismail began his medical career in 1972 at Al Azhar University in Egypt as House Officer, quickly moving to Resident Registrar University Staff Member in 1973 in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department, followed by Resident Registrar in Jeddah Maternity Hospital from 1974 - 1975. In 1975, Dr Ismail moved to the UK to further develop his interest and specialist training in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility. During this time, he worked at many of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals including Nottingham University, St Georges, Kings College, Guys and St Mary’s working alongside leading consultants including The Queen’s Gynecologist - Sir George Pinker, who was also the president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Mr TLT Lewis (author of many Gynecology books) and also Mr J Tomkinson at Guys, who at the time was the Secretary General of FIGO (Federation of International Gynecologists and Obstetricians) and supervisor to Dr Ismail’s PhD Thesis. In 1983, Dr Ismail was working as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hereford, Barnett General Hospital and finally St Mary’s Hospital, London.
In 1983, he opened The Queens Gynecology Clinic in Queensway and Harley Street, and then he took over the private consulting rooms of Sir George Pinker at 96 Harley Street (Queens Clinic). As well as his private practice, Dr Ismail has continued to operate as a consultant at a number of leading London private hospitals.
In 1992 the President of Egypt visited the UK seeking top professionals to build a state-of-the-art hospital. Mr Ismail was invited to implement the project using the latest technology in the field of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Endoscopic Operative Surgery, Infertility and IVF. The project started in the heart of Cairo near the river Nile and was called Hawwa International Hospital. Situated in Dokki, it was close to major transport links, city landmarks and the research and diagnostic facilities of the leading private hospitals. The hospital was to be a centre of excellence for obstetrics, gynecology and infertility treatment and was opened in September 1994 by the Egyptian Prime Minister at the time, Dr. Atef Sedky. Also in attendance were the Minister for Health and Cairo’s Mayor, along with a host of the country’s leading medical and political figures. This was an unprecedented turnout in the history of such events, and has not been repeated since. Mr Ismail and the hospital has since been treating leading figures across the Arab world including royalty, celebrities and politicians and embassy personel.
The Hospital is accredited by all the major insurance companies such as AXA PPP.
As An International Expert and the Head of Maternity and Gynecology in the new Hawwa Hospital, Mr Ismail used his specialist training in IVF, Laser Laparoscopy and all routine Gynecology and Obstetric methods to carry out normal, instrumental and operative delivery, in addition to managing every conceivable emergency procedure. The hospital treated a very large number of patients with excellent records of success. Mr Ismail was subsequently awarded the certificate of Specialist (Consultant) in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Egyptian Medical Council. In 1994 he was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian British Hospital, Cairo, and Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit. In this role Mr Ismail was additionally responsible for organizing symposiums and giving lectures as well as providing training for junior doctors.
Such was the interest in this groundbreaking project, Mr Ismail was in constant demand for comment and undertook a large number of educational interviews in the leading medical journal. Additionally, he featured across the worldwide news, mainstream TV, radio, magazines and newspapers.
Today Dr Ismail continues to fulfill this role alongside his position at Queens Clinic in Harley Street, where he treats both a UK and International clientele in all areas of Gynecology and Obstetrics, offering excellence of service in complete maternity care, infertility treatment and all aspects of women’s and sexual health. He also works as a Private Consultant at both The Wellington and Portland Hospitals in London. Queens Clinic Harley is also the satellite operation for IVF for the Lister IVF Unit, and has one of the highest success rates in the country.
Throughout his career, Dr Ismail has continually undertaken further study and specialist training to develop his qualifications, skills and experience in some of the most intricate and complex of treatments in his field, travelling the world as he continues to strive to remain at the forefront of all the major medical developments in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Mr Hesham Saleh MBBCh, FRCS, FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a consultant rhinologist/ facial plastic surgeon at Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
He is also an honorary senior lecturer of ENT surgery at the Imperial College London.
Mr Saleh trained in at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London where he learned from internationally renowned rhinoplasty and sinus surgeons. Mr Saleh obtained his FRCS (ENT) in 1995 and FRCS (ORL-HNS) in 1999.
From early on in his career, he chose to specialise in treating the nose, including both its functional and cosmetic aspects. He became a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery at Amsterdam Medical Centre, Holland in 2000. He was also a visiting fellow to centres of expertise in rhinoplasty and rhinology in the USA.
Mr Saleh is a leading figure in rhinoplasty, both cosmetic and functional, and in sinus surgery. He was selected by The Times as one of Britain's top 140 doctors and top 50 surgeons.
Mr Saleh is the Imperial College ENT course coordinator for undergraduate students. He is a member of the council of the Royal Society of Medicine and secretary of the Section of Rhinology. He is also a member of the council of Facial Plastic Surgery-UK (FPS-UK).
He organises national post-graduate courses (for ENT and consultants from other specialities) on cosmetic rhinoplasty, lacrimal surgery, sinus and extended skull base surgery.
He is also regularly invited as an international expert in rhinoplasty and rhinology in conferences worldwide. Mr Saleh has published more than 80 peer reviewed articles and several book chapters on rhinoplasty and rhinology.

Mr Mohamedundertook his training in Sheffield and Leeds with advanced specialty training in retinal disease at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He was the recipient of a prestigious Wellcome Trust Fellowship, leading to the award of a PhD for original research into the molecular and genetic basis of inherited eye disease, at the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine.
He now specialises in medical retinal disease (including diabetes, age-related macular degeneration and genetic eye diseases) and cataract surgery in patients with pre-existing retinal disorders. He also has a particular interest in utilising new laser and intra-vitreal injection strategies in the management of these conditions.
In addition to running a large medical retinal service, he has a teaching and training commitment for trainee ophthalmologists, is responsible for clinical audit in Ophthalmology at St Thomas', and is involved with an international link for teaching and training at the University Eye Clinic in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

I am currently Regional Advisor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for the North East Thames region. I have a strong interest in education and training, having previously been College Tutor and set up the post graduate educational program in Ophthalmology at Whipps Cross.
My clinical interests include Vitreoretinal and small incision cataract surgery, as well as medical retina. This includes diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous (retinal detachment surgery), diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disease and macular degeneration.
