Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust provides acute and specialist healthcare for a population of nearly two million people in north west London, and more beyond. We have five hospitals – Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s and The Western Eye – as well as a growing number of community services.

With our academic partner, Imperial College London, we are one of the UK’s 11 academic health science centres, working to ensure the rapid translation of research for better patient care and excellence in education. We are also part of Imperial College Health Partners – the academic health science network for north west London – spreading innovation and best practice in healthcare more widely across our region.

We are part of Imperial College academic health science centre, along with Imperial College London, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust – supporting rapid translation of research and excellence in education.

The Trust with Imperial College hosts one of 20 National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) biomedical research centres (BRC). This designation is given to the most outstanding NHS and university research partnerships in the country, leaders in scientific translation, and early adopters of new insights in technologies, techniques and treatments for improving health.
