Omar is currently working for our Immigration Department. He specialises in immigration from the Middle East and is in the process of starting the first UK-Egyptian Immigration law firm. Omar has extensive experience in immigration, having previously worked for Laura Devine Attorneys in New York City, where he dealt with clients and assisted attorneys on complicated UK and US Immigration cases.
International Claims – Omar worked for the leading International Group Claims firm Leigh Day & Co. His work contributed to numerous successful claims for Iraqi clients against the Ministry of Defence.
Corporate and Commercial - Prior to 2011 Omar worked for Shams Mohamed Sayed Law Firm, a full service top 5 Egyptian law firm. He specialised in corporate and commercial law and has considerable experience in corporate finance, human rights law, contract negotiations and international claims. He worked on several high profile cases including for the National Bank of Egypt. As well as this he has worked on numerous completed deals, specialising in large settlements and contract negotiations between financial corporations and insurance companies.
