The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce

The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce (EBCC) was established by the two Governments in 1981 as a UK company limited by guarantee. Its purpose is to enhance trade and investment between Egypt and the United Kingdom by providing information and advice, by organising seminars, conferences, informal meetings and trade missions, and by certifying documents for British Chambers on behalf of UK exporters to Egypt.

Through its specialist team, the Chamber provides effective and timely advice for UK and Egyptian traders and investors. The EBCC offers access to top business organisations and key government agencies. This includes lawyers, accountants, insurance companies, banks, logistics experts and consultants. The Chamber provides information on laws governing economic and trade activities and provides information on sources of finance and available assistance programmes. In short, the EBCC can assist in all areas of establishing a business presence in Egypt or the UK.

The EBCC has wide experiences in delivering quality events and services to its members. Throughout the year, the EBCC offers its members various networking and matchmaking opportunities. The events attract high-profile attendees, including Egyptian and UK ministers, senior executives and press. The EBCC arranges informative sessions and panels with industry leaders and top analysts in the form of conferences, seminars, debates and trade missions.
